JB/T7371-1994 "Mechanical Seals for Alkali Resistant Pumps" This standard is applicable to mechanical seals for alkali resistant centrifugal pumps, which are divided into three basic forms: 167 (1105) type - double end face, multiple springs, and unbalanced type; 168 type - external, single end face, single spring, PTFE corrugated pipe type; 169 type - external, single end face, multi spring, PTFE corrugated pipe type.

Introduction to Sealing Standards

1. JB/T7371-1994 "Mechanical Seals for Alkali Resistant Pumps" This standard is applicable to mechanical seals for alkali resistant centrifugal pumps, which are divided into three basic forms: 167 (1105) type - double end face, multiple springs, and unbalanced type; 168 type - external, single end face, single spring, PTFE corrugated pipe type; 169 type - external, single end face, multi spring, PTFE corrugated pipe type.
Working parameters: Sealing medium pressure 0~0.5MPa; The temperature of the sealing medium shall not exceed 130 ℃; The rotational speed shall not exceed 3000r/min; The shaft diameter of 107 type is 28-85mm, 168 type is 30-45mm, and 169 type is 30-60mm; The medium is alkaline liquids such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, potassium carbonate, etc. The concentration of caustic soda is not more than 42%, and the content of solid particles is less than 20%.
2. JB/T1472-1994 "Mechanical Seals for Chemical Pumps" This standard is applicable to rotating mechanical seals and other mechanical seals similar to rotating shafts. Mechanical seals for pumps include seven basic forms: 103, B103, 104, B104, 105, B105, and 114, as well as three derivative forms: 104a (original GX type), B104a (original GY type), and 114a. The structural form and working parameters of mechanical seals for pumps are shown in Table 5-36; Table 5-36 Forms and Working Parameters of Mechanical Seals for Pumps: ① For media with high viscosity and good lubrication, take 0.6~3, and for media with low viscosity and poor lubrication, take 0.3~3.
3. JB/T8723-2008 "Welded Metal Bellows Mechanical Seals" This standard is applicable to welded metal bellows mechanical seals for centrifugal pumps and similar mechanical rotating shafts, with a range of application: shaft diameter ranging from 20mm to 120mm; Sealing chamber temperature -40~400 ℃; Sealing chamber pressure, single-layer corrugated pipe ≤ 2.2MPa, double-layer corrugated pipe ≤ 4.2MPa; Speed, average linear velocity of rotating end face ≤ 25m/s, and average linear velocity of stationary end face ≤ 50m/s; Medium, water, oil, solvents, and general corrosive liquids are listed in Table 5-39 for mechanical seals used in acid resistant pumps.
4. JB/T7372-1994 "Mechanical Seals for Acid Resistant Pumps" This standard applies to mechanical seals for acid resistant pumps and is divided into four basic forms: 151 type - external, single end face, single spring, and PTFE corrugated pipe type; 152 type - external, single end face, multi spring, PTFE corrugated pipe type; 153 type - internally installed, internally flowing, single end face, multi spring, PTFE corrugated pipe type; Type 154- Internal, Internal Flow, Single End Face, Single Spring, Non Balanced.
